    • As a member of the UK&I Project Delivery Team the Project Engineer will manage and deliver on-site and off-site infrastructure designs. The role will have design responsibility for numerous projects that may be in different stages of their life cycle.

      Organisational Context:

      This role is key to ensuring schemes submitted for planning approval are buildable and profitable.

      This role is key to enabling consented schemes to be brought to construction and sale.

      For project related matters, the Project Engineer reports to the relevant Development Project Manager on pre-consent projects, the relevant Project Manager on post consent projects and the relevant Construction Manager on construction phase projects.  The Project Manager will be the Project Engineer's Line Manager at all times.

      To work smarter with data, RES has an exciting position available for an Information Management – Enterprise Data Management Architect. We are looking for an analytical, highly organized, self-motivated and fast-learning individual. You will map, understand and model all major data sets across numerous systems within a global organization. The role will assess value, risk and quality of data assets and define the processes to transform them. Your focus is primarily on enterprise information requirements: design, access, usage and stewardship. You will develop a deep understanding of RES’s systems and technology and contribute for the Information and data elements to the continuous improvement of our systems. At the same time, you will provide a single point of contact for data related issues. You will lead the Information and data issue resolution process.

      The deliverables & outcomes for this role are:

      Plan and Deliver a common Information Architecture across RES by studying the solution expectation and targeted audience; envisioning and delivering standards, tools, best practice and development methodologies to enhance Data Governance, metadata and master data management and other information management capabilities

       Outcome:

      -          Improve the quality and standardisation of the Information and data across RES

      -          Structured and Common Information and data will be trusted and shared among different business applications and used day to day by business users across RES

      -          Improve Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction

      -          Improve Compliance and Decision Making

      The position also requires an understanding of emerging regulatory issues surrounding information assets (such as GDPRS, data retention policies, outsourced data and specific industry guidelines — especially in Energy Sector). Also included are the development or use of process models, creation or use of information or target data models, interface designs, and development of internal and external checks and controls to ensure proper governance, security and quality of information assets

      This is a hands-on role, you will be required to work effectively with both non-technical and very technical stakeholders

    • Application Systems Analyst

    • The purpose of the role is to provide comprehensive administration and support to core corporate applications (Asset Management systems, Health and Safety and HR systems).  Including responding to production emergencies; fixing errors; assisting / training users; resolving root cause problems; testing and answering questions, creating documentation of fixes or improvements and to undertake improvements as agreed.

      The role requires assisting with services transitioning to Live and assistance with business processes and plays a critical role in ensuring that the company business processes function reliably and correctly and that the SLAs between the Group Information Systems team and the business are realised.

    • Remote Office Support Analyst

    • Renewable Energy Systems Ltd. (RES) is one of the world’s leading renewable energy developers, working across the globe to develop, construct and operate projects that contribute to a sustainable future.

      RES Requires a Remote Office Support Analyst to assist in supporting remote offices/sites and operational teams distributed across the UK. RES has many wind, solar and battery storage locations and it is those locations together with new setups that this role will predominately support. Therefore, this role will require the candidate to support IOT/SCADA based locations (industrial networks).

      By partnering with end-users and technology groups, the Analyst ensures all incidents are analysed, resolved, and reported back within agreed timeframes.

      The Analyst will require a good understanding of Windows desktop, server technologies, VMWare and industrial IP Networking including FortiGate or equivalent firewalls and Cisco or equivalent switch infrastructure. 

      The Role requires frequent travel away across the UK and Ireland often working in remote locations. This would be quite frequent with a minimum of 2 visits per month.

    • The overall purpose of the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Planner role is to assist with longer term contractual and statutory compliance for a portfolio of solar and storage O&M contracts, in accordance with company safety, quality and environmental systems. The key objectives are to help maximise the production from client assets, increase maintenance efficiency and achieve a high level of safety performance.

      The ideal candidate will be from a planning or coordination background with experience of maintenance procedures on operating assets. A high level of organisation and computer literacy is required to be successful in this role.

      This is a permanent role which is primarily office based. Location will be Kings Langley or near Exeter, with occasional travel to operational sites.

    • Solar & Battery Storage Technician

    • The Solar and Battery Storage Technician is a site-based role performing operational, maintenance, upgrade and repairs activities on utility-scale solar and battery storage systems. The purpose of the role is to ensure the plants achieve outstanding levels of safety and performance at minimum cost.

      The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified electrician with experience maintaining, building or repairing solar or battery storage assets at the MW-scale. This is a permanent role and will require availability for weekend on-call duties. The ideal candidate will have a specialism in one of the following:

      • Inverter technology, e.g. inverter service technician
      • High voltage assets, e.g. Senior Authorised Person
      • Communications, SCADA, PLCs or CCTV systems
      • Plant repair and sub-contractor management

      A company vehicle, phone and laptop/tablet will be provided. Strong candidates will have the opportunity to work towards Authorised Person (AP) or Senior Authorised Person (SAP) status.

    • This high profile externally facing commercial role will manage the various established bank lending arrangements to projects, on behalf of RES, TRIG, Octopus and other asset management clients. A detailed understanding will be required of the on-going obligations and deliverables under each of the financing arrangements, with communication and co-ordination internally within RES and externally to the banks and project owners. You will be the main contact for the respective bank agents, based within a friendly and dynamic team.

      The Project Finance Manager has the responsibility and autonomy for all submissions and compliance matters associated with project finance arrangements for RES’ asset management clients. You will regularly interact internally (within the UK, Ireland and France) and externally with:

      • project accountants;
      • project asset managers;
      • contracts team;
      • senior management;
      • banks / bank agents;
      • project owners;
      • legal & technical advisors.
